Osa Peninsula and final thoughts

After a loooooong travel day from Monteverde by car, a very rocky flight, and then a boat through a thunder storm, we reached #laparios – and boy was it worth the ride. Right down on the south west tip of #costarica with views across to the hills of Panama, this incredible Eco Lodge sits close to Corcovado National Park but in a primary rainforest of its own, looking down onto incredible surf beaches below.

We spent three fabulous days, chilling on the deck and in the pool with stunning views, hiking to waterfalls and beaches, and a bit of surfing. It was also the one place on the trip that made special effort to provide a vegan menu at EVERY meal ! Its special status as a destination for National Geographic is truly merited and we could have stayed for weeks. So many things we didn’t get the chance to do – so little time.

We’re just home now after an incredible (first) trip to Costa Rica – a country rich in ecological wonders and genuinely welcoming and proud people.

So green, so alive with the sound of nature, and so damn relaxed.

So go, you’ll love it.
