Well, as usual, just as we settled into some unseasonal summer weather in Scotland (to clarify, that’s not usually in summer……it’s complicated) normal service has resumed. I refuse to de-short though, even if wellies are required.

To be honest, it’s much easier to take with a couple of upcoming trips on the horizon so we’ll grin and bear it as always – it’s in our DNA in this country and one of the reasons it’s so green and beautiful. 

Warm rain would be nice in June though. And cue Costa Rica !
